What does the free KML to EUDR GeoJSON converter support?
It converts a bounded plain-KML subset containing Point or Polygon placemarks into downloadable GeoJSON in your browser. It preserves placemark identity where possible and reports unsupported content instead of silently treating it as converted.
Supported KML input
The public converter accepts plain KML up to 1 MB and 500 placemarks. It handles supported Point and Polygon geometry and produces GeoJSON that should then be reviewed for plot identifiers, geometry, coordinates, and source associations before case use.
Conversion limits
The converter does not process KMZ archives, remote network links, display styles, mixed or unsupported geometry, or coordinate-reference-system transformation. A successful conversion means the supported geometry was transformed, not that the locations are complete, accurate, or legally sufficient.
Questions about this tool
Is the KML converter free?
Yes. The bounded conversion runs locally without an account.
Does the converter support KMZ?
No. Extract and review the KML safely or use the authenticated processing pipeline.
Is converted GeoJSON ready to submit?
Not automatically. Validate and connect it to the correct plot, supplier, and product-flow evidence first.
