The checker combines the commodity group and candidate CN or HS code with the activity being performed, where the company is established, its size, when the activity occurs, and whether relevant timber products were previously covered by the EUTR. Each result shows the reasons produced by the selected answers instead of returning an unexplained yes or no.
What to confirm before relying on the outcome
Confirm the current Annex I product classification, the company’s actual role in the transaction, the applicable size test and establishment date, any relevant exemptions, and the timing of placing, making available, or exporting the product. Those facts can change the result and should be checked against current official material or qualified advice.
